The number of people who enjoyed The Pearl vs. the "benefits" of the state's proposed use is absurd. These dedicated business owners deserve proper compensation which would allow them to reopen and continue what they have dedicated their lives to. I got to know Steve Lin and his business very well. He is the kindest, generous, dedicated person I have ever worked for. I loved coming to work and listening to his stories and how he built his business. This saddens me and I willpray for the Lin family. John Casey I worked at the Pearl for 3 or 4 years.
