To Whom It May Concern
The State of New Jersey in a $400Million project is taking away my
parent’s property to turn it into a parking lot for a boat ramp. The
project involved building a bridge and widening the road. Effectively
they only require less than 1/10 of the 1 acre property. They have not
responded to repeated attempts to contact the state’s negotiator. THey
have also seized our property without any notice. We discovered this
when we tried to pay for the property tax and was told that we no
longer had to pay tax since we don’t own the property.
We have been in touch with our state senator, but so far there has
been no action on our behalf.
